Student athletes are often expected to be strong, focused, disciplined, and resilient, but behind the jersey, many are navigating pressures and challenges that no one sees.

1-800-NXT-PLAY is a national student athlete support network created to ensure that no young person has to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Our goal is to build a dedicated mental health and support ecosystem for middle school and high school student athletes across the country, providing access to confidential support through call, text, and chat, along with connections to mental health resources, education, prevention programs, and referrals when additional help is needed.

Through a collaborative effort between Life Beyond The Game, YANA (You Are Not Alone), and Sports Philanthropy Network, powered by Navigate360, we are working toward one ambitious goal:

Impact 1 MILLION Student Athletes

Your donation will help us launch and scale this initiative to provide:

• Access for 1 million student athletes to mental health support, resources, and connections

• Call, text, and chat access so student athletes have multiple ways to reach out when they need support

• Mental health resources and referrals that connect student athletes and families to additional help when needed

• Education and prevention programming focused on mental wellness, resilience, and healthy coping strategies

• Support beyond sports addressing identity, leadership, life transitions, and life beyond the game

• Expanded access nationwide so more schools, teams, families, and communities can connect student athletes to support
